Return & Exchange Policy


Please inspect your order immediately when received and contact us immediately within 7 days of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We do carry out Quality control inspections prior to sending out the product.



NOTE: Under no circumstance should the wig or hair extensions or hair pieces be altered (such as cutting or ripping the lace) or be worn by the buyer. If the item (wig or hair extension) has been altered or has been worn, then you have indicated that you will be keeping the item and we WILL NOT be able to accept a return.

NOTE: If a client repeatedly returns products, Coco and Melon Limited reserves the right not to supply future goods to the person concerned.

If there’s something wrong with your order (defective product, incorrect order, damaged order etc.), please contact us within 7 days from receiving your order in good condition and we’ll be happy to assist you with reviewing the case and if it is approved we will be sending a replacement. Please do not return anything before we review the case.

  • Only one wig per order can be returned for exchange or refund. 
  • All accessories, clearance sale items, and bulk order items are FINAL SALE.
  • If you are located outside New Zealand and Australia you are responsible for any taxes, duties and processing fees incurred because of returning or refusing package acceptance.
  • Coco and Melon assumes no responsibility for merchandise damaged or loss by carrier handling the returned merchandise.
  • Allow up to 2-3 weeks for the credit to be issued.

      We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase — so please choose carefully. 

      No refunds are given in the days prior or after a sale.

       If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

      All accessories, clearance sale items, and bulk order items are FINAL SALE.

      Note: If a client repeatedly returns products, Coco and Melon Ltd reserves the right not to not trade future goods to the person(s) concerned.



      • Prior to any return, email us at and we will email you a return authorisation number and instructions to return the product(s). This must be obtained before any product can be returned.
      • Wig, hair extensions, hairpiece products must not have been worn, styled, brushed, and must be returned with all the original packaging with tags still attached and must have any contact with food smells, hair spray, perfume, or cigarette odours.

      This Company does not accept liability for any damage caused due to improper installation. After the sale we are not liable for any defects, damages, or misuse of products. Coco and Melon will not be held responsible for any damages caused to the client’s hair during and/or after the hair extension application process. All stylists and consumers agree to use Coco and Melon products at their own risk. Coco and Melon will not be held liable for any costs associated with the installation or removal of the product, no exceptions. 


      Which products are eligible for returns?

      • All wigs, hair extensions and hairpieces (Unless have been altered, cut, styled or manipulated with odours or products by the customer). All items in the WIGS ON SALE Collection are also excluded.


      Which products cannot be returned?

      • All hair care, accessories and eyelash products that have been opened or used.
      • All items (are on Clearance) in the Wigs on Sale Collection are final.
      • All sales are final for products on Clearance.


      Here are a few things we need you to keep in mind

      • You are responsible for the return carriage of the goods.
      • We recommend using a track and trace service with the Post Office with a signature on delivery when you return a product.
      • If a client repeatedly returns products, we reserve the right not to supply future products.
